Seal moisture, stop mold, and control humidity with a clean, closed crawlspace system — plus Aprilaire whole‑home dehumidification.
Crawlspace encapsulation is one the most beneficial upgrades for any home. Crawlspaces are a major source of high humidity and unconditioned air that is often moldy with bugs and other allergens. This same air is brought up to your living areas through stack effect and affects people every day whether they know it or not! Crawlspace encapsulation is the solution. Aside from air quality and overall health, encapsulations provide clean, usable storage space, enhance overall energy efficiency, and look great when going to sell your home.
The stack effect is a natural air movement in a building driven by the difference in temperature and pressure between the inside and outside air. Think of it like this, the air in your home moves inside from the bottom (crawlspace and basement), rises through your living areas, and finally exits out the top (attic). Because warm air is less dense and rises, it creates a cycle where warm air escapes through the upper parts of a home, and cold air is drawn in from the lower parts.
Continuous vapor barrier + sealed vents keep soil moisture out.
Prevents rot and decay in floor framing & insulation.
Aprilaire whole‑home dehumidifiers maintain RH below 60%.
Encapsulation reduces spores, dust and other pollutants drawn up.
Unsealed crawl spaces can be a source of mold spores, allergens, dust, and other pollutants that are pulled up into your home's living areas through the stack effect. Encapsulation helps to prevent these contaminants from entering your home, leading to healthier air.
A sealed crawl space acts as a thermal boundary, preventing outside air from infiltrating and conditioned air from escaping. This reduces the workload on your HVAC system, which can lead to significant savings on heating and cooling costs—sometimes by as much as 20%.
By blocking moisture from the soil and outside air, encapsulation creates a dry environment that helps prevent mold and mildew growth. This protects your home's floor framing, insulation, and foundation from rot and decay. Mold will grow on any organic material when humidity is 60% or above. A quality, whole home dehumidifier will control the humidity levels and stop mold. We only use high quality, MADE IN USA, dehumidifiers from Aprilaire.
Encapsulation eliminates the damp, dark conditions that pests like insects and rodents thrive in and seals off their entry points, making it much harder for them to infest your home.
Holiday decorations that are typically stored in garages or attics. Seasonal clothing and other textiles that can become musty. Electronics and appliances that are sensitive to humidity. Important documents and photos that are vulnerable to mold.
Encapsulating a crawl space is a significant selling point that can make a home more attractive and valuable to potential buyers While it may not be as flashy as a kitchen or bathroom remodel, encapsulation addresses fundamental issues that buyers are increasingly concerned about.

We’ve been working with Spartan for the past few years, and it has been an absolute pleasure. The company is well-organized, professional, and consistently demonstrates excellent communication and people skills. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.Posted on Patti FlinnTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Spartan put in a french drain a short while ago. During the last windstorm one of my trees uprooted and took a portion of the drain with it. I called Spartan and they came out quickly, found the portion that had been displaced, made sure it was uninjured and put it back. The water hasn't been pooling against my house since the drain went in and I'm very happy with it and Spartan's service.Posted on Bill AbramsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Spartan wall repair and Joe did a fantastic job. When I called and explained I had an interior wall that needed repair they came out the next day. After they looked at it we got the repair scheduled and I couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs wall or basement repair.Posted on Mike MaughmerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good clean professional work. John was my rep very personal to his customersPosted on Blair PetersonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are new home owners and unfortunately realized a month in that our crawl space was in terrible shape with an improperly done and incomplete encapsulation. John came out and inspected and gave a very honest, straightforward, and professional opinion on what was needed to get things corrected. This was in stark contrast to the other companies that gave estimates. It was clear that Spartan Wall Repair cares about this work and focuses on getting things done right without the manipulative salesperson tactics and extortion-level prices. We soon after had them back out to install drainage lines for our downspouts. Both jobs were done quickly and efficiently with a crew of 2-3 people. We are impressed and happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.Posted on EmilyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Spartan did a great job. John wrote us a quote to repair/sister joists that were damaged from termites. He came and provide a quote and answered my questions without some crazy pushy sales pitch and AI graphics (I’m looking at you basement doctor). Not only that but I had probably 1 million more questions after he left and John was always obliged to talk things through. Zach and Atilio repaired our floor joists and they did so in a timely manner with intent and quality. They were professional and friendly and cleaned up well after leaving. There was a small scope of the work that was missed but when I brought it up Zach had a quick run to the store and back and took care of it in no time. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Dave while making my final payment and he seemed like an honest and genuine guy. If I have any other basement needs in the future they will be my first call. I also hope that anyone out there who needs some work done gives them a shot! Sometimes it can bring a lot of comfort to go with the company that’s been around for 20+ years but it comes at a steep price. I had 4 other quotes done and Spartan had the best price and tbh the most comprehensive quote out of them all. Last but not least, I paid to have about X amount of joists repaired and they added support to a few more. Not sure if they had extra material or what but I think it is really great that they added that on (cost free to me). Super happy with the work, Thanks guys!Posted on Sherry WoodTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Zach's team did a wonderful job without foundation repair. The communication was on point and customer service at the top of their priorities. The team returned to clean up an area that they forgot. Totally unexpected. Would recommend again.Posted on Adam ChioccaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Zach and the team did an amazing job on my foundation repair project. Yes, my insurance company threatened to cancel my policy and I was very worried but Zach and the team with Spartan Wall Repair did an amazing job and everything got approved! My homeowner’s insurance policy is now intact and good, thanks to Spartan Wall Repair. I give them 5 stars!
